I am a tenured Associate Professor of Finance at Tilburg University. I am also fellow of the European Banking Center and CentER. I received my Ph.D. in Economics from Universidad Carlos III of Madrid in 2004. Before joining Tilburg University as an Assistant Professor in 2006, I have been a CREA research fellow at Universitat Autonoma of Barcelona.
My research interests cover Banking and Corporate Finance theory. In particular financial fragility, liquidity, Central Bank interventions. I am also interested in technological progress and competition.
