The aim of this group has been to engage the public sector bodies throughout the region to source locally.

The Groups Key Objectives:

•        It maintains focus of group over a long period, regardless of changes in personnel

•        It provides ready-reckoner as to suitability of actions and initiatives

•         It provides concrete objectives for staff

•         It is critical in ‘cutting edge’ areas, where the process and the implementation are both under development

•         It reduces the probability of becoming mired in the process and it ensures that processes lead to desired outcomes
