Steven Gerrard is one of the best players in Liverpool history. He was born May 30, 1980 in Whiston England. Gerrard came up through the LFC youth program and has only played for LFC. He is a great leader on the field and has continually helped Liverpool to victory when it seemed hopeless. That is one of the reasons why he is my favorite player. He has played over 450 games for LFC and scored his 100th goal for them on October 1, 2008 in Liverpools 3-1 victory over the Dutch team PSV Eindhoven.
