You have signed up for a class that will be an investment in your overall health. 
This class is designed to teach you a variety of ways to develop muscular strength and endurance,
cardiovascular endurance, as well as various fitness tools to integrate throughout your workout.
In ad
dition, we will be collaborating on health topics during lab (classroom) days. 

  Topics on lab days will include, but are not limited to:
-Nutrition
-Proper Eating Habits
-Food Guide Pyramid
-Calorie Consumption
-Food Labels
-Heart Rate
-Body Composition
-Aerobic Fitness Vocabulary
-Types of Exercise

It is my desire that you will discover your fitness goals, as well as some of your personal goals,
and
be successful in achieving them.   You will need to come to class with a positive attitude
and be determined to work hard.  Good results come from hard work! NO WHINING.


The largest portion of your overall grade comes from your daily participation and attitude. 
Come to class in proper clothing, a smile on your face, and a willing attitude that's ready to work hard.

If you are constantly losing daily points for lack of effort or a poor attitude, your grade will be affected!!
