LOL I was thinking of "I worked out today"...workout.....then I thought of the High School Musical song ...sry :) anyways as you can see (sry for the blurriness I took this while walking at 3.5mph :) LOL) I use a Wizards of Waverly Place pencil pouch as my diabetic work out bag and then I take the most important stuff out so I can test (ideally) every 15 mins to make sure I don't bottom out during the workout without noticing (like last time when I let myself go to a 42 while running joyously) anyway I ran my 3 miles and was ok at 171 (I started out at 153) OK...so the cereal I had just before I left for the gym is waiting for the insulin to catch up. OK... Then me and my friends moved over to the bikes which are ok but I prefer running still :) so I did another 7.6miles on that thing....then we wanted to shoot some hoops (yeah LA Fitness rocks like that :) ) and I felt fine but checked again since I hadn't checked in like 30 mins....273 WHAT? This was a first. I usually go low when I work out. I even fit a small juice box and 2 fruit snacks along with some glucose tabs in that pencil case this time! but noooooo LOL of course I did not have my overage chart on me (I honestly did not expect to go high) so I had to call home and have somebody look through one of my kits to find that darn thing because I was not sure if it was 2 or however many units to bring me back down to range. I wa skinda mad too because I was really craving that juice pack LOL Diabetes....you made no sense to me today. Yay for: friends Yay for: gym membership Yay for: working out Yay for: running Yay for: diabetic testing supplies So tell me, have you ever had a :what the heck?" diabetes moment?
