Treadmill for dogs - Olympus health club. Treadmill For Dogs
Nosework (12/52) It's been quite a week in Savannahland. On Monday I learned that she has severe bilateral hip dysplasia, with accompanying severe arthritis. Learning that came as a complete shock, since she gets along really well. We're hoping that medical management will work for her. She's been on glycoflex (now switched to dasuquin) for years for her back issues, an anti-inflammatory/anti-oxident supplement (dog vitals), now on rimadyl, and our hour a day walks are going to be gradually increasing in duration until I can't walk anymore :| (If anyone knows of a jog-a-dog treadmill for sale, I'm shopping!) She has her first underwater treadmill appointment next week, and I'll get some home PT I can do with her then. But wait! There's more, and that more is Nosework! Yesterday we went to a day-long seminar on Nosework, a relatively new dog sport that is custom made for dogs with issues that limit their mobility. I'd hoped to get some photos of Savannah doing her runs, but not surprisingly, I had to be completely focused on her during her runs. So this photo of her peeking out of her crate while she was waiting her turn will have to represent her day at Nosework. She really enjoyed it, even though the scary male instructor required a lot of initial 'barking at'. Cody-treadmill
An old friend, Cody, gets ready for the water treadmill. This is 'treat city' - just keep your nose pointed upriver, don't stumble and look hopeful.
