Can see through the window of the Field Hospital into a room filled with what looks like either gym equipment or equipment for a disabled person, white metal bars with handholds. And a sign warning of a guard dog. Driver is a woman and she shouts up the stairs "We'll be leaving in a minute folks". Past the chip shop on Granton Road, busy and battered food lit by orange lights. Sun hard and hot straight ahead. But an aeroplane in the distance with it's lights on. Through another window in Muirhouse, on the sill a bottle of Fairy Liquid and a bottle of thick bleach. The pointing fingers from the Sistine Chapel on a poster outside the church. A man sits down across the aisle clutching a greetings card in a cellophane wrapper with a picture of either flowers or fruit on the front. And someone else comes up the stairs smelling of beer. Corstorphine hill looks lush and rounded with foliage, but with metal signal masts protruding at intervals. A clear run towards Barnton junction. A blonde woman closes her car's petrol cap. Turn left, a blind summit. An old woman with a flowery dress edges along a bench at a stop. A garage forecourt with half its sign reading HOT FOAM POWER WASH and the other half XMAS. A crow on the roof of a bungalow with it's beak open wide. The shadow of a tree is cast onto a roadside wall, and the leaves shiver. Someone else comes upstairs filling the air with sickly-sweet perfume, like bubblegum and swimming pools. On a patch of grass in Broomhouse a boy in a Portugal shirt takes a penalty and misses. Another church and this time the poster says I AM THE GATE. A family sit by the canal. Two girls with big inflatable hammers. Water from somewhere.

I'm SO excited! I think this could be him! The fez was the dead giveaway!!!! Yes! They did a damn good job on his face though, and they trimmed his beard down radically. I'm sorry about the quality of the pic. I had to stand far away and zoom in, pretending I was taking a picture of a piece of gym equipment. I didn't really want to DIE in service of world peace.
