The house has six double bedrooms and a single one, each with its own bathroom, a large kitchen with wood-burning stove, a living room with a large fireplace, two verandas. The ground and first floors have old terracotta tiles and wooden beamed ceilings, while the second floor has a very modern steel-and-wood staircase, a suspended library and resin flooring. Amenities include air conditioning / heating, an electric piano, TV, games console and a table-tennis. The 90sq meters (18x5) swimming pool has an electrically-operated cover for safety and to retain heat in mid season (the swimming pool can be heated on request). Guided visits to nearby attractions and other Tuscan cities, and cookery lessons at a neighbouring property can be arranged on demand. It is possible to arrange a pick up service from the airport / station but you will need your own car to fully enjoy Podere San Paolo and visit nearby villages.   |
