WEIRD FANTASIES THAT BECOME REALITY SERIES PART 1
The Oriental Art of lifting an excavator that fell off a pontoon
|
Once upon a time in the far east, there was a country were the sun always shined, and the people always were smiling. They were not rich but also had no worries.
Their rice and buffalo's grew on the fields all time and their wives and daughters were always cooking delicious meals out of it.
That people they smiled and smiled all the time, so it could happen that they had no eye for the other things. So sometimes minor accidents could occur... Once it happened that the municipal workers peacefully floated an old yellow excavator on a pontoon from place to place over the beautiful meandering river.
They watched how the wives on the riverside were cooking and washing, and as ever the sun was shining on their old straw hats again. Enjoying a cigarette and a Red Bull and they talked out a hundred things.
But then, suddenly it happened... OOPS ! To pass the old black steel bridge, they should keep the excavators gig down, but this time already it was too late... The yellow heavyweight had hit the bridge and jumped in the water...creating a local tsunami.
For short time the guys were shocked and not fully understood what happened, but their excavator was gone ! They looked at each other, for a moment even their smile was gone... They opened some more little Red Bulls to relieve the aftershock, and after a discussion they agreed that something went terribly wrong...
What to do now... call the boss ? The boss would be disturbed in his work, or even become angry ! But if they just would fled away they would never receive their salary end of the month... So finally they decided to bring the boss the bad news, because it might be the best way.
In his brand new pick up truck the boss came to the scene with a serious grim on his face. He could not believe his eyes, did this really happen ? He knitted his eyebrows and for a moment he wanted to get angry... But then, suddenly he burst of laughter, something funny like this he had never seen before... He called all his friend to come and see !
And for those having sexual fantasies on excavators this might be interesting: Excavators come in a wide variety of sizes. The smaller ones are called a mini-excavator or compact excavator. One manufacturer's largest model weighs 84,980 kg (187,360 lb) and has a maximum bucket size of 4.5 m³ (5.9 yd³). The same manufacturer's smallest mini-excavator weighs 1470 kg (3240 lb), has a maximum bucket size of 0.036 m³ (0.048 yd³) and the width of its tracks can be adjusted to 89 cm (35 inches). Another company makes a mini excavator that will fit through a doorway with tracks that can be adjusted to only 70 cm (28 inches) wide.
In recent years, hydraulic excavator capabilities have expanded far beyond excavation tasks. With the advent of hydraulic powered attachments such as a breaker, a grapple or an auger, the excavator is frequently used in many applications other than excavation. Many excavators feature quick-attach mounting systems for simplified attachment mounting, dramatically increasing the machine's utilization on the jobsite. Excavators are usually employed together with loaders and bulldozers. Most wheeled versions, and smaller, compact excavators have a small backfill (or dozer-) blade. This is a horizontal bulldozer-like blade attached to the undercarriage and is used for pushing removed material back into a hole.
