This site is the creation of Mr. Hamlin's Grade 11 American Literature course at Exeter-West Greenwich Regional Senior High School. As part of our exploration of oral traditions of First Nation cultures, we endeavor to preserve the stories and lore of our local community in audio, video, and typed transcripts. We also want to honor and revere the lore and wisdom of local elders who possess a wealth of knowledge that we believe must be kept. A great thanks is owed to the adults of the community who aided students by being gracious, patient, and generous with their interviewers. Some adults sat for several interviews without fail.
