Skating Treadmills - Weslo Treadmill Manuals. Skating Treadmills
2 September 2009 Photojournal I think this is a fitting photo for today, even though it's old...(i actually do have some new pictures of her that my friends took for me, but she's so BALD atm) it energizes me. I think I'm coming down with something...EVERYONE in school is sick..and I'm just about the unluckiest person on earth...thus I probably caught something from them. Anyway, aching all over, my lungs feel like they're collapsing in, my throat is closing up. My legs hurt, my feet hurt, my toes hurt, my fingers hurt, my arms hurt, hell, my nails and hair are hurting too. So what do I do? I go outside and go for a half hour run (no matter how crappily I ran, I know I've done at least 3 miles), because, well, I don't want to skate as it's a bit wet outside...and I'll DEFINITELY slip and kill myself. I'm used to the treadmills and the track that I had such easy access to...And, I love the numbers on a treadmill, I have an obsession with watching the numbers, I go so much faster and longer on a machine). Despised with all my being running outside...breathing in the pollution and all sorts of yuckiness at rush hour. And of course, I have NO sense of direction whatsoever...so, I got lost, called for directions...stood there verifying and going over the directions. I hang up, and I turned right, wala, well, I'm on a very familiar street, probably..hmmm 20-30 blocks from where I live. Then it started to POUR. I dash into the nearest convenient store, dripping and effing freezing from the blasting A/C. How great is that for my depressed immune system. Either way, I still feel quite accomplished... Hopefully I feel better tomorrow..that or I get a fever and stay home (no fever = school, no matter how disgusting you feel) Bad case of verbal diarrhoea tonight. I'll stop talking now. G'night 91/365:2
"droning chords and distant bells to what's been over since the fall holding tight to what's been felt holding on tight onto a dead sky turn a deaf ear no matter what they might say always turn a deaf ear pushing you further away always" - junip, always - It was rainy today, so we stayed inside. I ran 2 miles on the treadmill then did a mile on the elliptical. After working out, I decided to clean up some stuff in the basement to try and get it a little more organized. It's not perfect, but it's better than it was. Apart from that, I didn't do much else today. I had a slight headache all day. I thought it was from not drinking enough water after working out, but I've had A LOT of water today, so I think it was just weather related. In the evening I decided to practice a little on my skates. I wanted to do some falling drills and practice getting up by going onto my toe stops and then jumping up faster. Now that I've tried it a few times, I think it will be easier than the way I usually get up. Kenzie wanted to roller skate too, so I got her skates out. She then wanted her pads too. I finished what I was doing, but Kenzie wanted to keep "skating" so she just kept going around the living room. It was pretty cute. I'm glad she's excited about skating because once the weather gets better she's going to be my skating partner in the empty bank parking lot on weekends. I also discovered tonight that Aubrey got her first tooth. It's pushing it's way through, but it's definitely there! yay for teeth!
