Dr. Burch is a professor in the Department of Psychology at SUNY Oswego.
 
 
 
 
 
Marissa A. Harrison, Ph.D.  
 
 
Dr. Harrison is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Penn State, Harrisburg.  Her research focuses on the evolution of various aspects of human sexuality.  She is also a test item writer for Educational Testing Service.  Prior to Penn State, she taught at Borough of Manhattan Community College, The College of New Jersey, Rider University, Sacred Heart University, Schenectady County Community College, and a the University at Albany.  Her dissertation work under Dr. Gallup was titled, "Why do we kiss? An evolutionary perspective."
 
 
 
 
 
Susan Hughes, Ph.D.
 
Dr. Hughes is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Albright College in Reading, PA.  Her research interests involve examining voice attractiveness, morphological markers of fitness, kissing behavior, facial and vocal recognition and expression, and vocal manipulations. She just recently implemented an Evolutionary Studies (EvoS) program at Albright College.
 
 
 
 
 
Steven M. Platek, Ph.D.  
 
  
Dr. Platek is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Georgia Gwinnett College in Lawrenceville, GA.  Some of his most recent work involves the neurological basis for facial resemblance and self-face recognition, trustworthiness in self-resembling faces, and feelings of control, empathy, and social exclusion.  He has written two books, Evolutionary Cognitive Neuroscience and Female Infidelity & Paternal Uncertainty, and is currently working on his third book, Foundations in Evolutionary Cognitive Neuroscience.  He is also an Associate Editor for the journal Evolutionary Psychology (www.epjournal.net).
