About Archimedes
Archimedes of Syracuse (Greek: Άρχιμήδης c. 287 BC – c. 212 BC) was an ancient Greek mathematician, physicist and engineer. The most famous anecdote told about Archimedes is how he discovered the principle of buoyancy. He took to the streets naked, being so elated with his discovery that he forgot to dress, crying "Eureka!" ("I have found it!").
