The Wine Tipster  (aka Monty Phillips)

He's on the web as The Wine Tipster, but he's known to us as Monty Phillips, who with his partner Louise Hill runs Phillips-Hill Wine Marketing. Monty and Louise share their experience and skill when they choose the wines and beers for the bar at ChOC's monthly films. They often serve them too, and are always happy to talk wine (and beer) with you.

Monty's blog is where he shares some of his latest finds with all and sundry, and it's worth keeping an eye on his recommendations because he often features easy-to-find wines from shops such as Waitrose... or the local Co-op.

And now that Monty accommodates beer drinkers at the ChOC bar, too, look out for some choice real (bottled) ale with your film. (Bring your own crisps!)
