Jason and I met through eHarmony about a year and a half ago. I wasn't that interested in meeting him to begin with, but he was persistent. He lived almost 5 hours away, I didn't want to get involved with someone long distance. He decided he'd drive down anyway, get a hotel and let me decide whether or not I'd meet up with him. Begrudingly, I decided to meet up with him for a movie since he had made the effort. Aside from the initial shock of his physical similiarty to my cousin (which my family constantly teases him about, and yes, it was weird at first but he is so different from my cousin I hardly notice anymore), he charmed me with his manners, intelligence and nonchalant reaction to meeting my mother that first weekend.
