Searching is probably the most frequently used functionality in ETO Software. Before a new Participant or Entity is added to the system, it is recommended that the system is searched to avoid duplicate entries. In addition to the features listed on this page, the majority of data entry features include a search screen. Quick SearchQuick Search allows the user to search for active Participants or Entities in the selected program, or those who are active and dismissed across the entire site.
View/Edit ParticipantView/Edit Participant is a program specific search that includes an option to include dismissed participants in results. Click on a Participant to view his demographics, and make changes if necessary.
Find ParticipantFind Participant is a site wide search that includes active and dismissed participants in results. Click on a Participant to view his demographics. View/Edit EntityView/Edit Entity is a program specific search that includes an option to include dismissed participants in results. Click on an Entity to view its attributes and contact information, and make changes if necessary. Find EntityFind Entity is a site wide search that includes active and dismissed participants in results. To search for an Entity by name, click the link that reads "Search for Entity Across the Site." Click on an Entity to view its attributes.
