My broad research interests are:  environmental health, environmental microbiology and water quality.  I am currently working as a postdoctoral fellow in Dr. Karen Levy's lab.  My current research projects investigate the linkages between Atlanta’s water distribution system water quality and health, funded by the US EPA and the Water Research Foundation 
[collaboration with colleagues from Emory RSPH].
 
I received my Doctor of Philosophy degree in Ecology in 2010 under the training of Dr. Erin Lipp from the University of Georgia (UGA) and my Master's of Science degree in Environmental Health Science in 2005 from UGA.  I received my Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology from South Carolina State University in 2002.
