Huntington's Disease Fundraiser Update (6/10/09)

This month is Huntington's Disease Awareness Month. Please help the local ASB in raising funds to stop this silent and deadly killer. Adults who genetically inherited the disease begin to feel the onset in their mid-40s, and it takes about 10 years for it to kill the individual. The disease robs the person of the ability to think for themselves, and has a 50% chance of being carried on to the next generation. Alicia Maples, in charge of the fund-raising committee, has been doing an excellent job in promoting the awareness of this terrible disease. Help us to try and find a treatment.
