The Mustang Band is our most advanced band.  The band is made up of students in their 3rd and 4th year of playing.  The Mustang band focuses on playing music that is technically and musically challenging.  Mustang band members will find more advanced time and key signatures.  They will play a variety of musical styles.  They focus on proper tone production as an ensemble, balance within the ensemble and sections of the ensemble, dynamic contrast, and ensemble and section intonation.  This ensemble strives to perform music that exposes students to the history of music and of different cultures around the world.
