Freelance writing, teaching, and elder support
Welcome!
This page is an experiment in online "presence" for my freelance and contract-hire work.
Your attention makes it worthwhile for me to update it, so please let me know what you think!

Here's what I do:
Freelance Writing and Illustrating:

I specialize in educational and creative themes. I enjoy creating line-art for instructional text, as well as full color illustrations. I write reports, short stories, articles, essays, the occasional poem or riddle.
I'm available for editing and coaching (resumes, term papers, memoirs, etc.). I won't do your school assignments, but will be happy to help you complete them.

For illustration, check out these covers: Darkhaven and The Federal Bureau of Paperwork Reduction, both by Douglas Watson
Workshop Teaching and Facilitation:
With a family background in teaching, and experience as an OMSI science educator, I enjoy informal education in hands-on and participatory formats. I teach workshops alone and with other instructors, and facilitate skills-sharing and group learning experiences. Topics include science, art, crafts, community work, and outdoor skills. In-Home Support and Elder Care:
Elders and families are irreplaceable. As an experienced care provider, I can offer respite care, transportation, and help with errands, chores, and yard work. Elder Care Details
