Curriculum Vitae: here

I work at the Northwest Fisheries Science Center (NOAA) in Seattle. I'm a quantitative ecologist, and am interested in a range of problems (population dynamics, extinction risk, conservation genetics, reproductive success). My recent modeling specific interests have been pursuing applications of isotope mixing models, state-space models, hierarchical models, multilevel random effects models, and Bayesian model selection techniques. I'm particularly interested in using hierarchical models with variation at multiple levels (individuals, groups).

If you're looking for code, a large number of the computer programs I've written are available on Ecologybox.  If you're looking for materials for the R class at the NWFSC, it's available here.  Links to material for MARSS related workshops at ESA are at Eli Holmes' page.

Brice Semmens and I have started a blog about Bayesian analysis for stable isotope data.  Check it out here.
