I believe in presenting material in a way that connects the students' prior knowledge to the content presented in order to increase their understanding.

Teaching must come from the heart. The instructor must first respect and care for their students. The relationships nurtured in the classroom determine the climate within those walls, as well as the success of the students that sit within those walls.
