NOTICE: NEW MANURE MANAGEMENT RULES - The MHPOA Board of Directors and the POA Equestrian Committee have jointly developed a set of requirements and restrictions for manure containment and disposal.  The new documentation, which replaces previously published guidelines, applies to all mini-farm owners who have, or will have, equines stabled or pastured on their property.  The requirements and restrictions are intended to ensure a healthy, environmentally-friendly community for human and equine residents.  The document also serves to inform mini-farm owners of their responsibilities to protect the lake and wetlands from pollution resulting from improper practices.
The new document can be found here: Manure Management Rules

The Equestrians of McLendon Hills are residents of the McLendon Hills community who have horses and the boarders of the McLendon Hills Equestrian Center.  Our mission is to support and define a quality equestrian environment for the McLendon Hills community, providing opportunities for the training and enjoyment of our equine partners.  Events sponsored include riding and equine health clinics, horsemanship demos and clinics, trail rides, special events, and social gatherings.  The objective is to continue improving our knowledge of the equine and to have fun with our equine partners and friends.
