The team from the United States will be traveling to Equatorial Guinea, Africa from October 5-17th, 2009. We will be going to support the work of the Lord that is being done through Missionaries Mario and Irma Martinez and The Church of the Nazarene of Equatorial Guinea. The trip is officially registered with Nazarene Compassionate Ministries. The schedule is busy, but the Lord is good and we know He will provide all that is needed for this work. The team is planning to host a short term medical clinic in the city and village of Bata and Beayoup respectively. In addition, during the medical clinics we will be conducting a Vacation Bible School Program for children and community education talks on topics such as HIV, Malaria, Hygiene, and others. In the evenings will be participating in evangelistic services hosted by the Church of the Nazarene in Equatorial Guinea. As well, we will be participating in the construction project at El Colegio Nazareno (The School of the Nazarene) which is highlighted on the Sponsorship 2009 page. During the course of the trip we will try to keep this website updated, though variable internet access may limit our ability to do so. All forms of support are appreciated. We are blessed to have people around the United States and the world praying over this trip. If you feel led to support the trip monetarily, please visit the Sponsorship Page. If you are interested in making other types of donations toward the trip (toothbrushes, pencils, crayons, etc...) please email us. We will have a email update list as well. If you would like to be on that list just let us know. Thank you for visiting, and may the Lord bless you. |
