Lifetime Members
Life members are those persons who have been so identified by the Board because of their service to the Association. A Life member shall be exempt from payment of dues and they are entitled to all privileges of a certified member.

Up and Comer
This award is presented to a umpire in their first or second year who is recognized for growing both in the Softball Ontario Program and the association. Our "Rookie of the Year".

Jim Bradford Award
The “Jim Bradford Memorial Award” will be awarded annually to a Softball Ontario FP and SP Umpire that best exemplifies the characteristics of leadership, educator, evaluator.
The individual(s) must demonstrate not only the above characteristics but truly show a love of the game of softball and in particular a devotion to the betterment of umpires across the Province.
The following EOUA members have received this prestigious award from Softball Ontario; awarded annually at the Instructor-Evaluator Weekend in February.

Indicator Club
The objective of the Canadian Indicator Club is to acknowledge contributions made by individual umpires to the officiating program across Canada. Nominated Umpires must meet the following conditions:
- Conduct on and off the field is such that the official is a positive role model for younger officials
- Have a minimum of ten years of continuous umpiring and registration with both the provincial/territorial association and Softball Canada (Must be presently registered with Softball Canada)
- Be active in the umpiring program; examples would include serving as an evaluator, instructor, provincial/territorial Umpire in Chief or Deputy Umpire in Chief
