To: All Eyes of Hawaii Members

From: Jim Young, EOH President

At the end of the club trip to Guizhou, China this year, some of the participants started talking about doing something similar in Inner Mongolia next year.  Mr. Zhou, who made the travel arrangements for Guizhou, immediately set off to see what he could do for us in Inner Mongolia.  As in the case of Guizhou, he personally traveled to Inner Mongolia to find the best photo opportunities and check out travel arrangements.  He reports that September would be an ideal time of year to visit — especially the mountain areas which should have beautiful foliage at that time.

Mr. Zhou has come up with the following itinerary.  It includes not only visiting Inner Mongolia, but also visiting the historic city of Harbin in Manchuria with its Russian-style architecture.  But the surprise is that Zhou’s itinerary IS FOR THIS YEAR!!

Sanwei Li says there is still time to make arrangements for travel this September if enough EOH members are interested.  As in the case of the Guizhou trip, 10 participants are needed to qualify for the cost quoted below.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IMMEDIATELY IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN TAKING THE TRIP THIS YEAR IN SEPTEMBER!  Contact me directly at jby@hawaii.rr.com.

Aloha,

Jim (aka Lao Yang)
