Greetings from the English Valleys PTO.
The "Limo Ride" winners, see photo at left. 14 students sold 35 items or more for this year's fundraiser. We left the school at 2:00, went to the Malt Shop for ice cream, then drove around town until 3:00. What a great time we all had!
CONGRATULATIONS to all of the "Summer Reading Program" winners. We hope you enjoy your certificates and your item from the prize box. Thanks to all who participated, our sponsors, and Mrs. Glandon for all of her hard work.
Our fall fundraiser with Cherrydale was a huge success. Thanks to everyone who helped to make it happen. Our class room winner for the ice cream party was Mrs. Hester's 3rd graders. They all enjoyed their ice cream. Our I Pod chair winners are Summer Gibson, 2nd grade and Brandon Zimmerman, 5th grade. All students who sold at least 1 item will be attending a Dance Party. The date has not yet been set due to all of the activities and field trips. Keep watching the bulletin board for more information. Also, for every 5 items a student sold, he or she will be getting 1 piece of tape to help tape the principal to the wall. This will also take place at the dance party. Mrs. Andreassen will be getting 202 pieces of tape. Good job students. Our total profit from this fundraiser was $6260.60. All items will be available for pickup on Wednesday, October 1st, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. If you have any more question, please contact me. Thanks to everyone who helped at the garage sale.
