English 43 is a course designed for students who
need review and practice with writing unified paragraphs and purposeful basic
compositions. In this course, students will develop knowledge of the writing
process as well as knowledge of grammatical stuctures to compose clear and
complete sentences, paragraphs, and short essays. Students will also read texts
as the basis for writing and developing critical thinking skills necessary for
success in college courses.
