English Country Dance Atlanta's annual dance weekend, Fandango! 2012, will be held on the weekend of September 14-16, 2012.

Fandango! begins with a Friday night joint dance with the Chattahoochee Country Dancers with caller Seth Tepfer.  On Saturday and Sunday, there will be English Country Dance workshops and a Saturday evening ball.  All events will be held at the Clarkston Community Center.  For directions, go to:   MAP

Principal Teacher -- Joanna Reiner
 
Joanna Reiner is an avid dance gypsy and Philadelphia-area English and Scottish dance leader.  She co-teaches English dance, Scottish dance, and longsword at Swarthmore College and is a regular caller for the Germantown Country Dancers. In addition, Joanna co-leads GCD’s English Country demonstration team and is a member of the Delaware Valley Branch Scottish Country demonstration team. Joanna’s calling has taken her from Amherst, MA to Ann Arbor, MI, including stops at the NEFFA, NOMAD, and Heritage dance festivals, and Pinewoods dance camp. In her spare time, Joanna works to support her dance habit.

Karen Axelrod
, a Northampton Massachusetts resident, plays piano for English, American and Scottish dance and has been on staff at numerous dance events around the country, including Pinewood and Buffalo Gap camps, Berea Christmas Dance School and Brasstown Dance Week. Karen is highly regarded for her creative and rich piano accompaniment. She also plays accordion for the renowned longsword team, Orion Longsword. She plays in the band Foxfire (with Daron Douglas) and Woodlark (with Earl Gaddis and Chris Rua).
 
 
 
 
Naomi Morse
, a Brooklyn, New York resident, plays fiddle in the dance band Night Watch.  On fiddle, Naomi Morse finds sounds both fiery and flowing, and her rhythmic Vermont style sparks with French Canadian, Irish and Swedish influences.  She has performed throughout the US and in Europe, and sings professionally in New York City.
 
 
 
 
Anna Patton, based in Vermont, is an accomplished, versatile clarinetist. Anna tours regularly with the dance band Elixir and other combos, delighting audiences with her command of numerous genres, her soulful style and her stunning musicianship.
