According to the report by the U.S. Bureau of Justice Statistics (2003), a sexual assault occurs about every two minutes. So my Multi-Genre Research Paper will focus on Sexual Assault.

I created a website with URL is http://sites.google.com/site/engl101023/Home to talk about this topic. Also, I included some statistics about the survey did recently on sexual assault.

In this project, I concentrated on one major type of rape, Date Rape. I used the "write up of study" genre to create this topic. In this topic, I concluded the study done by Arnold S. Kahn about what determines whether or not a woman labels her sexual assault experience as rape. Date rape is the most frequent type of rape, also the most unreported one.

Also, I wrote an encyclopedia entry to introduce a type of Date rape, Marital Rape. In this genre, I introduced the history that marital rape became a crime, and a recent study that ten percent of all sexual assault cases involve a husband or ex-husband.
