is the life work of Daria Konstantinovna Smolentseva, an artist rooted
in the cultural traditions of the Russian heartland. From the pagan
folktales of Siberia to the mystic pantheon of Orthodox Christianity,
her work draws on an array of inspirations. Particularly central to her
art is the strength and spirituality of Slavic women.
