An extremely nice pseudotachylitic breccia wall at the Leeukop hill quarry, 2 km north of the town of Parys, South Africa occuring in the Vredefort Dome, 2.02 billion years old.



Meteorites in the Antarctic: after finding a few small pieces on the blue ice field east of the Sør Rondane Mountains, 1st Sergeant-major Jesko 'Kazze' Kaczynski kindly pointed out that the black spot below the ice could be a bigger fragment of the same meteorite.
All you really need are good eyes!
