Interested in body, brain & action research?  There are opportunities for students at various levels to conduct research with in the SoBA Lab at Bangor University.

Some possibilities include (but are not limited to)

Research Masters Students

PhD Students
The British  PhD system is slightly different from the American, Dutch and German systems... if you're interested in looking into a PhD at Bangor, please contact me or visit the Bangor Postgrad website.

Postdoctoral Research Fellows
Several European and International funding schemes exist to finance postdoctoral fellowships.  I am happy to support applications from suitable candidates. German individuals interested in postdocing with me are encouraged to check out the Feodor Lynen Fellowship program from the Alexander von Humboldt Stiftung.

Volunteer Interns
I am very happy to host talented undergraduate, diploma and masters students from anywhere in the world for short-term research internships (similar to the Praktikum program in Germany).  Students from a range of relevant disciplines (including psychology, neuroscience, biology, computer science, cognitive science, etc) are encouraged to contact me for more details if interested.

For all positions, basic computer skills and a strong command of the English language are essential. Computer programming skills (MATLAB) are helpful, though not essential.
