EMHS's environmental science class is having a tree seedling sale!
We are asking for donations for tree seedlings that we have grown in a nursery over the past two years. All proceeds from this event will go into a Green Fund, which will be used by future environmental science classes to reduce EMHS's impact on the environment, such as energy savings measures.

We are asking for donations for tree seedlings that we have grown in a nursery over the past two years. All proceeds from this event will go into a Green Fund, which will be used by future environmental science classes to reduce EMHS's impact on the environment, such as energy savings measures.
The tree seedlings vary in height and condition and we are asking for donations for each seedling, based on whatever you are comfortable paying. The estimated range of values for each species is listed in the order form below, based on their condition and/or height.
We have the following tree species in our nursery (click on the species to find out information and view a sample seedling):
Red Oak, White Oak, Pin Oak, Hazelnut, and Persimmon (sorry, sold out).
75% of these species were collected by students from the campuses of EMHS and EMU. The other 25% were given to the school as a donation from the Potomac Conservancy.
Ordering Seedlings
Please use the form below to request seedlings. Make sure you check the inventory (below) to see if there are species left in our nursery (please do not order any more if there isn't!)
Fill out the form in its entirety - we will be using your address to make a map of the locations to which the trees are being distributed.
Once you have placed your order, we will send you a confirmation email.
