My wife and I have always belonged to a temple and found Temple Emeth after shul shopping when we arrived in Florida in 1993.  We are happy we found Temple Emeth as we have made many friends among the congregation.  I was a past president of Temple Emanuel in Passaic, NJ and maintained my membership there until the congregation disbanded.  Jewish communal life has also been very important to us and I served as president of a Jewish family service where we helped to re-settle 200 Jews from the former Soviet Union during my term.  In addition, I served as a vice president and campaign of our local federation and supported our local Israel Bond drives.  Here at Temple Emeth I have co-chaired our annual Israel Bond breakfast for about 10 years.

We joined because of the Rabbi but we love the services here and the camaraderie with our friends.  We find that we not only have a connection in Judaism to a history that goes back thousands of years, but we also feel a connection to our own family history through our membership here.
