Testimonials

It was too short. I wish it would continue.

"The GVS completely changed my perception of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.  I was very pessimistic before attending, but I now see completely new possibilities". (Ron Perry)

We learned and practiced how to listen from the heart. Not to judge. Not think of our own story. Not to prepare an answer while listening. Not to try to make a point. Just to listen. To listen to the body. To listen to the music. To listen to the deeper intention. To have empathy. To have an open heart. Not to be afraid to just listen.

"Despite the refugee experience and the experience of being enclosed, we sit together with open hearts and hope for communication, connection, and understanding."

(after this weekend) I promise myself to learn Arabic (Eileil)

"The GVS was an eye-opening experience for me.  It was the first time in my life that I sat next to religious Jewish people who didn't want to kill me" (Anonymous Palestinian participant)."

It me believe that people can self organize and can make a difference.

I am really happy these 2 days to get to know all these people, to meet the other side and to hear about their difficulties and the reality of their life. It was interesting  to hear about life in a kibutz. I think we should have more of these meetings.

"The most important thing I got is to see beyond stigmas. To see people, to see eyes & to see thoughts."

...the fears that came out, the fears that almost came out. This kind of meeting triumphants over the media that educate us that we are enemies. I see here the bright side of the Palestinians & israelis relationship.

each time I feel more comfortable, more communication. If you are not present you can't change anything.

For me it is only the beginning

I don't know how to describe my emotions. I have much more energy than at the beginning. I am so proud to be part of the change towards which we are working
