How a Network of Sustainable Communities
Could really Save the Earth
There are many native prophecies, throughout the Americas, and it has been said that one day, because of need and greed, and the overwhelming power of numbers, there will come a time, when the Earth is battered and the Forests will be ravaged, and hurricanes and tornadoes, and floods will become much more destructive.
There will come a time then, when the people will wish to make a return to balance, and there will be a desire to live within the natural order of priorities, through the natural exchange of nutrients and resources, and then the Keepers of the Ancient Myths, and the Truth Carriers, and the Future Legends, and all the ancient wisdom of the native peoples will be needed, to help the people, who do want to learn, how to live in harmony with the Earth, so we can restore the Earth back to its normal health.
These ecologically minded, restorative visionaries, and regenerative seed carriers, who will be called the Warriors of the Rainbow, or the Peace Warriors or the Kindred Spirits of the Emerald Forest, will put down their personal disagreements, and join together in companionship and collaboration, towards the Protection, and the Healing and the Restoration of the Earth.
Many things will need to be reprioritized. The Earth comes first. The Web of Life comes first. The Tribe comes first. And the Community comes first. Responsibility to the Tribe comes first. Lateral Movements of nutrients and resources does not work. All of these things will have to come to be understood first, before the wants and the needs, of the people, who must learn to work more closely, through relocalization, within their own natural watershed regions.
Then, when all the peoples of all the tribes, will have come together around a newly emerging vision, of an Earth Restored and a World at Peace, as Kindred Spirits of the Emerald Forest and in the spirit of collaborative service, towards the greater good. These Warriors of the Rainbow, will teach the peoples of the Earth, how to live in harmony with the Earth, and all Her Children, who are all related, and a new circle will be formed of those who are committed to a new way of life, where no one is entitled to anything they have not put some real energy into. Who eats first? The Oceans eat first. The Forests eat first. The land must be protected, because it comes first, and a healthy wild part of the ecosystem, and then those of us who serve the web of life, will eat last, when everything else has been fed, and all has been taken care of.
These Warriors of the Rainbow, will help the peoples of the world to learn, that there is a deeper significance to everything we do, and that everything that we have been given, needs to be respected and understood. These Warriors of the Rainbow will provide some gentle guidance and direction, where it is needed, to help the people to learn, how to make the Earth beautiful and bountiful once again, where every good thing has a place, in the natural order of things. These Peaceful Warriors will try to help all those, who really do want to learn, that in Permaculture, every problem has a solution, and for all of us there is a right way of life.
Those who would like to become one of the Kindred Spirits, will have to show the highest levels of respect, for life and the preservation of the habitats of all the native peoples, and the many who have died, and all that has gone before, that has all played a part in helping us to get this far. The people will learn once again, how to live in respectful consideration, for the hidden interconnections, within the natural world, and to support each other, in a self sustainable new way of life, and with the spirit, of more than enough and some to share.
There will be a life giving renewal, for those who are faithful to the magic of the Earth, and the river of life, and the Stars, from which it all may once have come, and the Tree of Life, of which we are all just a small part, and which is Universal, as well as being local.
These Peaceful Warriors, who are the Kindred Spirits, will become One with the Earth and All Her Children, and they will plant the seeds, of the very beginnings, of a global network of Sustainable EcoVillage Communities, that will begin to spring up, right here in the Americas, and around the world.
These communities will be known as the Emerald Forest. Each community will be seen as being like a Tree. As these Trees grow, they will begin to influence the local climate, and the environment around them, and the local peoples, in a very beneficial way, and they will then be able to connect up like a Living Forest, that will be able to hold its ground and protect the Earth, through the voluntary support and collaboration, of all the other Trees.
The Urgency is Now.
The whole Web of Life on Earth itself is like a Tree, and that needs to be
allowed to reproduce, once it
reaches an adequate stage of maturity, and that Tree has to be willing, for some
relatively small part of
itself, like a growing network of people who are already living in Sustainable
Communities, to be able to
fly free, of the meaningless limitations, of its own self imposed boundaries,
and to propagate itself, as
far away as possible, just like seeds in the cosmic wind, from which we
ourselves, may even have once been
borne. But we were not meant to be consumed by need and greed, or to respond to
those who bring us only fear and desperation.
We now need to become fully able, to move way out and beyond, just this one
small planet, just like an Ark
moves up above the ground and floats around. We need to be able to rise up to
move life out, onto other
planets nearby, and far beyond the scope, of the dominions of the all too many,
whose ethics and scope, may
not have enough Truth, to carry us very far out there, and so we will need to
build an Ark, that will be
much more than just barely adequate to live on, for an extended period of time.
In the same way as the Dove returns, in the Myth of the Ark, we may be
returning, to our own original
homelands among the Stars, where a large part, of what we are may have come
from, and we will be carrying
the good news, that a few of us have survived, all the floods, and brought some
new forms of life with us,
that have never even been seen before. But everyone has to be willing to die as
many times as will be necessary to make this happen.
It is now high time to begin to build the Emerald Ark. We are now more than
ready, to begin to venture out,
far beyond the confines, of the Nursery Planet, and to reach out, beyond the
farthest shores of experience,
and that may be where we will find our Childrens Land, and there we will
probably find, everything we could
ever need, and a new home for the Emerald Web of Life, and all things that are
good and right, and that may
quite possibly turn out, to be the place of our most ancient origins, and that
may still be where our true
home can be found, which is where we may even find the secret beyond the secret,
of our own origins.
We are no longer, to remain completely unable, to understand what needs to be
done, nor can we refuse to
honor the word of Truth. We may just happen to be, one of the most useful parts,
of the entire Ecosystem
right now, and we are probably among the most capable, of pulling something like
this off, among all living
remains of what has been able to survive on Earth, among the many who have
tried. We need to act now.
It is time now for us to take up the cause, of the Universal Propagation of the
Emerald Forest Web of Life, and to
begin planting, these uniquely significant Trees of Life, all over the world, which can stand together, like Trees in a Forest. - T

Emerald Forest 3.5 minute videoOur fifteen minutes of fame, could be over with fast, unless we start making
plans now to extend that, for at
least another ten thousand generations. We must now learn to escape, from all
forms of captivity, as a world
wide web of communities. There may not be any positive futures here, or anywhere
else to be found, except
for the ones we must create for the Children, of the Kindred Spirits of the
Emerald Forest of Sustainable
Communities, and so we must leave a sustainable future for our whole community,
and for all life on Earth.
Towards that end, we must begin to build the Emerald Ark.
Each of these newly forming, Self-Sustainable
EcoVillage Communities, are going to be like young Trees, that are being
planted, very deeply into the Heart
of the Earth, and very far apart at first, only so that later on as they grow,
they will be able to spread
out, into their own parts of the world. As these Trees grow, they will be able,
to send out ripples that
will have a positive influence, on the people and environments around them, and
as they become more and
more, well established and complete, they will become more and more able, to
provide food, shelter and
wildlife habitat. These Trees will then eventually be able to replace the
declining systems around them, as
they will be providing a shining example, of what really does work. We will all
have to find a way to help,
to pass life on down, and to set it free. And in return for that, we will all
have a life worth living, and
a gift worth giving to the next generation, and then we will be able to offer
something of some real worth,
to our children and to their children, that really will be worthy, of our humble
new beginnings, which may
become much more universal, than was previously thought, once we get over the
threshold of darkness. We may
even become the new Adams and Eves, of this emerging new world mythology, and
that may cross over, into the flipside of the
next one to come, only inside out and backwards, which may be where this one we
are in now actually came from.
We really do seem to have, a vision of mythical proportions, opening up before
us, that really could be fit,
to be lived through, over and over again forever, and if we talk this way after
midnight, that may be the kind of spirit, that will be necessary,
if we are really going to sink our teeth, into the real meaning, behind the
emerging vision, of Eden and the Emerald
Forest Web of Life. We must ask for immediate collaboration, throughout the
Americas, and around the world. We must
always try to link up, with all the other positively minded, creative new
spirits, who may have come back,
from some unknown places, just to do their big fat part, and to help to save the
Earth, and all those of us who do respond,
very strongly, to this brilliant call for action, may be the ones who could
rightly be called, the Kindred Spirits of the Emerald Forest of Truth!

self expression that we are going to need to be able to open up to, just to get
us off to a good start.
How do others feel about the recent turn of events, like the financial crisis?
Do we even have a position on that?
What do others have to offer? What do we have to share?
One thing I would like to offer, and to share, is a great looking almost brand
new computer that I would like to donate to a good cause like an almost homeless
space sharing household of positive action dreamers who just need a computer and
some internet access to do some good work, or just to get connected up with the
important work that we are doing, and who just don't have the money.
I also have a good piece of land with lots of trees, about 300, that I would
like to find a good home for, so I can donate that, if anyone has any good
ideas, about how we could use that to save the Earth.
We have just launched the north american branch of Earth Council Embassy, and we
are always looking for others with real resources to bring to the table, who
would like to collaborate in a very big way full time and then some.
