About me


I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University College London. I received my Ph.D from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Democritus University of Thrace in Greece. My research interests lie in the areas of network protocols, service differentiation and network management. Additionally, I am a founder of Araneous Internet Services (an IT company situated in North Greece). I have worked as a software engineer for many years, using different computer environments (Linux / Unix / Windows). I worked for DoCoMo Eurolabs (Munich) from May to October of 2005 and June to August of 2006. I was a Research Associate at the University College London (UCL) from April 2008 to November 2009. I participated in several international research projects, such as UniverSELF (FP7), Ambient Networks (FP6), Extending Internet into Space (European Space Agency), COST290, Autonomic Internet (FP7) and other.
