The third EMAK workshop at Guilin, China on November 15, 2011
The workshop was co-organised by the Government of China and the Government
of Japan in cooperation with the IEA and the IEEJ under the framework of the
International Partnership for Energy Efficiency Cooperation (IPEEC).
Held in Guilin City, China, this workshop had a large group of attendees from China and over ten other countries. The sessions focused on heavy industry sectors such as iron & steel and concrete, as well as the role of small and medium enterprises. Second EMAK workshop in Washington USA on 10 May, 2010 A successful EMAK workshop was completed with over sixty people listening to presentations and providing interesting discussions. Highlights included practical examples of energy management around the world and a special session on the current status of ISO 50001.
