I'm currently a student working on an M.A. in applied social research. As well, I am working on contract as a project coordinator for a nationwide study of oncology nurse recruitment and retention, which is being led by a local Ph.D. nurse researcher. I'm seeking full-time permanent employment in or very near to the city of Greater Sudbury, Ontario. I plan to defend my thesis in April, 2007 so that I can attend convocation in June. 

My research area is health and health care. I have previously worked on evaluations of nurse practitioner pilot projects, and  an evaluation of a teletriage pilot project. My thesis is entitled "Factors that Influnce the Health of Northern Ontarians: Policy Implications." By June, 2006, I will post an up-to-date progress page on my thesis work accessible through this website. 

Please visit the No Strings Attached Community Band website. This is a community band of which I'm a member. I play percussion and act as the music librarian for the group. We play free or low-cost concerts (all proceeds benefit local charities) in and around Greater Sudbury.
