Who Are We?

Laurier Chinese Christian Fellowship (LCCF) is a group of students who meet weekly during the school year at Wilfrid Laurier University. Our purpose is to bear witness to the Lord Jesus Christ and to nurture an active interest in evangelistic work on campus and within the community. It is also to deepen the spiritual lives of the members of LCCF and to keep each other spiritually accountable in our daily lives and academic pursuits. Our weekly meetings range from movie discussions to Bible studies to photo scavenger hunts and worship nights. This year, our theme is based on the passage found in Romans 12:1-2:

Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God--this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will.

You may have this passage ingrained in your head or it may completely new to you -- wherever you are in your walk with God, we ask you to inspect this passage closely and find why Christians [should] follow the example Jesus Christ left for us.

Our regular program on Wednesday night is being replaced this week only by a Monday night of discussion on how to be proactive members of our communities.
