·        2007 – PhD student, department of linguistics, Indiana University Bloomington

·        2006: Co-recipient of the Time Magazine Man of the Year Award (along with 5 billion other people). (Thank you Peter Norvig for reminding me)

·        1999 – 2006: Assistant Lecturer, Suez Canal University in Egypt. Taught general linguistics and translation courses to undergraduate students under the supervision of professors in the department of foreign languages.

·        1998: Graduated summa cum laude from the Faculty of Languages and Translation at Al-Azhar University, Egypt

·        1993: Finished High School. I was the 6th highest scoring student in Egypt, and my picture appeared in several national newspapers.

·        1975: Was born.
