Road to Wimbledon 2012

This year's tournament will be held over the weekend of Friday 18th (eve), Sat 19th, Sun 20th and Mon 21st (eve) May.

It is open to boys and girls aged 11 - 14 years on 31st Aug 2012. It will be a Grade 5 tournament and all matches will count towards ratings and ranking points. All entrants will be guaranteed 2 matches, so if you lose in the first round you will get a consolation match.

Entry fee is £2, payable at your first match.

All elligible children will receive an email with application form attached. Please send completed form asap via email to Josh Bramwell (referee) at steve.bramwell@talktalk.net.

Please note all entrants must be Ellesmere Port City Tennis Club members.

Parking at West Cheshire College

Now that the college is moving into the next stage of development (new tennis courts!!!!), there have been some changes in the main parking areas. At the weekends it will probably be easiest to come in the nomal way, via Sutton Way, and take a left into the car park which leads directly over to a view of the old courts.

However, if it is busy, there is a new one way system in place whereby you head past the aforementioned car park, straight towards the new circular building and then turn left, past the disabled spaces; this will lead you to parking spaces near the old nursery. On exit, you will need to follow the one-way system which heads behind the new building and back out onto Sutton Way. Please download the attachment below for a map which shows the new one way system clearly.

It is that time of year again when we look back and see what we have achieved, as well as focusing on our aims for next year.

Please do join us for our AGM at 6.45 pm for a prompt start at 7 pm on Tuesday 27th March at West Cheshire College. We do need your support - even if you are not standing for election, please come along and use your vote and hear the most recent news about your club. This should be a short meeting and refreshments are provided, but we do need your support.

Easter Camp Dates Announced

We will be running an Easter camp this year from Monday 2nd - Thursday 5th April.

Each day will run from 9 am - 3 pm. Costs remain at last year's prices:

£15 a day for members or £50 for the week;

£18 a day for non- members or £65 for the week.

You will need to bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink.

Update - Supervised Fun Doubles

Please note that our supervised fun doubles session where adults can play with their children is changing its time. After half term it will take place on Sundays, starting on Sunday 26th February, between 11.30 - 1pm, alongside our U18 squad. Please come along and join us!
