Students manage their Student Education Occupation Plans (SEOP) using Utahfutures.org in middle school and beyond.

Students build this electronic education and career portfolio throughout life, and online access makes it easy for parents to get involved.

UtahFutures.org services are provided free of charge. Personal data entered by the user is not released to third parties without the user's express consent and direction.

Mission Statement:
 
Within Elk Ridge Middle School, the guidance program is an integral part of every student's educational experience and is designed to develop fully functioning and responsible citizens within the society by helping EVERY student to: 
  • Gain knowledge of and feel good about himself/herself and others;
  • Learn to function effectively in the middle school environment;
  • Explore options relating to his/her educational and occupational futures;
  • Develop an SEOP (Student Education, Occupation Plan);
  • Develop strategies for career planning;
  • Have opportunities for growth in the areas of self-knowledge, educational and occupational exploration, and career development.
