My Dress I haven't decided whether to post pictures of the dress here or not, but it is by my favorite bridal designer, Reem Acra. I love it! It will have a nine-point French bustle, and Anahit has done such an amazing job so far. She's also custom-making me a plain-edge cathedral length veil that I'll wear during the ceremony. For the reception, I will take off the veil and just go with a floral pin in my hair. My Shoes! I love my shoes, and especially love that they will match my mango calla lily bouquet!  Here is a stock photo:  Jewelry The bodice of my dress has a lot of crystal and beadwork so I probably will forego a necklace and wear this pair of Tejani earrings (again, pending a try-on with my dress to make sure I like it all together.)  Bridesmaids' Dresses After much debate between 2 gorgeous dresses, we finally ended up with this one (is was a group effort to decide, with me constantly harassing my mother, my sister, my bridesmaids, and my poor fiance about it.) It is Vera Wang style 21M02, and ours will be in a champagne color ("Sand Dune" according to Vera Wang.)   I love the netting inset in the bodice of the dress.  Flower Girl Dresses I FINALLY decided on flower girl dresses, though it has surprisingly been one of the most difficult aspects of the planning process. Our junior bridesmaid & flower girl are 10 and 7, and so are at an in between stage where most traditional flower girl dresses look too young for them, yet they are clearly not old enough or large enough for actual bridesmaid dresses. Thankfully, I stumbled across Melissa Sweet's line of flower girl dresses that are perfectly suited for their age, not to mention beautiful! I'd wear some of those dresses if they came in my size! The color shown is the color we are ordering the dresses in. It is called "pale jade" in silk charmeuse. Hair I want my hair to be simple and elegant, probably just a low chignon or twist with a side part.     Makeup Something glowing and fresh, eyes with brownish shadow and pink lips and cheeks. I'll post pics when I find the right ones. The Guys' Attire All the guys will be wearing Calvin Klein 2-button tuxes from Men's Wearhouse. Jon loves the classic black-and-white tux look (and so do I!), so he'll be rocking a black vest and tie: |
