Barocco Divino
Sphynx F3
Color: black and white (n 03)
HCM scans: * Planed for Automn 2012.
Indiana is our sweet outcross from our friend Amelie in Belgium. We had not plan for a new hairy outcross but Indiana is just irresistible! We have lot of health info about Indiana's bloodline, she has a beautiful type and to not spoil a very good character, 100% sphynx! We are very pleased to have this wonderful girl and we are very grateful for the confidence Amelie give us.
Indiana's mother is a beautiful sphynx and her father a double outcross from american shorthair and domestic. Indiana inherited her father's coat but she carries nudity from her mother. She will be able to do statistically 50% naked kittens and 50% hairy kittens with a sphynx stud. If you are still looking why and how you are reading about a hairy sphynx you need to read my page about outcrossing : there.
Indiana well retained qualities due to outcrossing. She has a perfect head shape. Head size is also ideal, not too small or tiny. Her stop is perfect and she has a fantastic short and wide muzzle with strong whiskerpad so important in the sphynx breed. Indiana's body is also very good, big potato!
Her ears are the main defect but I am optimist for the next generation given they are quite wide and not so small (the hair gives the impression that they are smaller).
Indiana's temperment is like a "true sphynx", casual, eager to hug and so cute than we can't deny her anything! The first night she took place between our pillows and does not hesitate to wake me up with a rapper lick when she is hungry for cuddles.
She is very comfortable in any situation. You can see on this video, her first train trip, not really stressed: http://youtu.be/PJ3iIk7f7A0 She is very playful, tireless but very convenient since she bring back the toys than we shoot.
Indiana entered a first and only show in February 2012 with her breeder and us. She was shown in the House Hold Pet kitten class and was the Best. She also was alone in this category but was kind and patient during the show and charmed judges with her little black noze :-)Probably will be her only show because HHP adult are allowed only altered.
