  "Gas prices have been skyrocketing all over the world, but what makes this happen?  The first thing we need to look at is how the price of a gallon of gas in generated.  The price of gas in April averaged $2.74 per gallon.  We need to break down that price to see exactly where most of the cost comes from.  The price per gallon is broken down as followed:  17% taxes, 3% distribution and marketing, 26% refining, and 54% is the cost of crude oil.  Rising crude oil is a major reason we see a large increase in price at the pump.  In January 2005 the price of West Texas crude oil was $50 compared to the price in April 2006 of $70 per barrel.  This increase alone can account for $.25 per gallon to the consumer.    Lower gasoline refinement has also contributed to the rise per gallon.  This lower production can also be related to mother nature.  Hurricanes like Katrina and Rita last year damaged refineries and most are still not up to full capacity.  Most refineries still have not reached the capacities pre Katrina and Rita so production of gasoline still remains low. The electricity in the houses are a big factor to global warming before we leave our homes we should turn off all unused items such as , ipod and cellphone chargers, stereos,  alarm clocks , computers and other usless objects

Ever since  my classmates and I  took part into watching the film "the 11th hour" we was worried and curious about what we can do to save our world . I noticed that every single thing we do help kills our earth . So I will like to make change .Hopefully we will like to make change , but I believe that if I get a helpful hand from you to get the world to know  what we are doing .   What us Americans and not only our country is doing is that we are not unplugging ununnecessary objects and are driving to many cars .I'm  not trying to say we should not be driving any cars but if 40 people drive 40 cars that is 40 times as worst as if 40 people ride 1 bus . Another thing that we can do is ,instead of creating WEST SIDE STADIUM we can try to get Madison Square Garden to run on solar panel . The solar panels may be in highly cost  ,  but it is for a good cause . If  Madison Square Garden is known as  "The Mecca"and The greatest arena in the world .How come we can't  make it live up to its name . I can see a big difference in my fellow classmates have made major changes in our daily lives . We tried  to boycott styrofome because that take millions of years to decay .      So please we need your help thanks .         cause #5    Wind Turbine  

    my response on the turbine testing :   My response on the turbine testing  is that I was sort of upset of both of the outcomes I was was team 13 . My team ,in testing #1 mines did not spin at all because the thumb tack was to tight in to the wood ,  I needed to sharpen to bottom of the wooden stick  so  that it can be able to spin in the screw that was screwed into the wooden base . My response to testing #2 was I was happy that we made progress  but at the same time I was still unhappy because as you can see I only had 0.01 volts .   During the manufure of the wind turbine I thought that it will never get done . I thought we will never finish , because everytime we put the template down we will have to pull it all up (3 times) .My group had finished exactly right before the first testing.   definition:
