The mission of the Marshalltown Community School District challenges students to become life-long learners and productive, critical thinkers who strive for self-understanding and demonstrate responsible, global citizenship. Realizing that the regular classroom curriculum must be augmented for talented and gifted students, the ELP program supports and provides qualitatively differentiated learning and assists gifted students in reaching their academic, emotional, and social potential.
This site provides information and links to resources for students in Marshalltown's Elementary ELP program as well as for families and students who are searching for community and web-based enrichment programming and opportunities.
