Sectoral Survey Report: Provides an overview on the demand for training needs in Lithuania, Hungary, Portugal and Austria, identifying the key competencies that SMEs feel an urgent need to develop. The report also has useful information regarding the current trends in these countries and contains useful links in e-related topics. On-line Tool-Kit:
Using this On-line tool and completing an on-line competency test, anyone can find out if he/she is ready to become an e-worker. The E-manager and E-worker self-assessment test evaluation identifies the strong and week sides of the participant. With the help on the tool-kit, the self-development plan makes tailored recommendations on how to develop skills by enrolling in e-learning courses to become a better E-worker. E-learning training modules:
24 hours e-learning modules that are aimed at developing the required competencies to become more sufficient and effective while working in an „E-environment”. These modules enable the E-managers to become better E-leaders, get practical advices on how to manage changes related to the „virtual-environment” and how to motivate and enhance performance of e-teams. For E-workers, it provides support to become better in time-management, problem solving and decision making that are relevant to everyday operations in E-working. By developing E-communication, life-long learning, motivation, customer orientation, conflict management and E-team competencies, not only individuals will develop, but the enterprises can also benefit by the implementation of e-work. Sufficient e-work will result in reduced costs, higher efficiency and also enables effective customer relations to compete in the global environment. The modules are fun, designed using real life case-studies, contain small quizzes and short explanations to make learning more enjoyable. The assessment allows the learner to measure the achievement and to explore future opportunities for development. The results of the project will be available in 5 EU languages (English, Lithuanian, Portuguese, Hungarian and German) and can be accessible from the project website on www.elearn-ework.eu or can also be obtained from a CD-ROM upon request.
