Not only the employees, but also more and more clients are also searching for new solutions in order to communicate with their suppliers in a more effective way (using ICT: videoconferencing, e-mail, Management Systems…etc.), saving money, time and raising effectiveness. Companies have to start using their resources efficiently to become competitive on the market. One of the possibilities to reorganize business and become more efficient and attractive for the clients and workers is to start implementing E-Work in the company. Introducing e-work gives another vision on work and another vision on leadership. Preparing the staff for “virtual working environment” and implementing “E” work in a company is not an easy task. There are many barriers that need to be considered. There are still many limitations and constraints to be resolved, not only in a technological level, but also from a social perspective. Therefore, training is an urgent need to develop the necessary skills to assist workers in becoming successful, futurepotential e-workers. |
